Ivor Novello and Brit Award nominated singer songwriter Karen Poole has accumulated over 35 top 10 UK hit singles and over a billion streams worldwide.
She started her musical journey with her sister as part of Alisha’s Attic. The band recorded 3 albums for Mercury Records, including platinum selling album ‘Alisha Rules the world’ which was produced by Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics.
Karens songwriting credits include: UK number 1 disco house classic ‘Lola’s Theme’ (The Shapeshifters), Kylie Minogue (4 UK singles including ‘Wow’,’Red Blooded Woman’, ’Timebomb’, ‘Chocolate’ and multiple album tracks) Sugababes (3 UK singles and multiple album tracks), David Guetta, Galantis, Lily Allen, Will Young, Becky Hill, Giorgio Moroder, Olly Murs, Groove Armada, Enrique Iglesias, Janet Jackson among many others .
In Asia Karen has had cuts with K-Pop superstars and multiple platinum selling Girls Generation, Boa, FX, Taeyon and J-pop superstar Namie Amuro among others as well as multiple European releases.
Some recent works include ‘Rich Boy’ by Galantis, Lily Allen ‘Sheezus’ (3 tracks ) Netsky ‘Who Knows’, Becky Hill ‘Unpredictable’, Shift Key “Touch”, Don Diablo ‘People Say’, Aston Merrygold ‘Get Stupid’ (Aria platinum-selling single which has been used for the latest Samsung Galaxy worldwide ad campaign.). Also the track “Young” for Apple which also the hot London DJ-trio Jaded recently released as single.
Karen has also co-written the hugely anticipated ‘Bridget Jones Diary’ musical with multiple Grammy winning producer Greg Kurstin and Lily Allen.
